RIEDC initiative Every Company Counts teams up with National Grid to provide Energy Efficiency Audits for small businesses
Meet one-on-one with a National Grid program representative for a NO COST on-site energy audit.
Incentives and Financing:
- If you decide to install the efficiency measures recommended from your on-site audit, National Grid will pay 70% of the installation and equipment costs.
- You can finance your 30% share of the cost of the installation and equipment costs in several ways; your share can be placed on your monthly electric bill, you can pay one lump sum (and earn a further 15% discount of the amount due) or you can choose interest-free financing for up to 24 months.
The Small Business Services program offers:
- A FREE on-site energy audit of your facility’s electrical equipment
- Based on the audit, a proposal is developed with recommended energy efficiency measures
- Equipment installation at your convenience by licensed qualified contractors
- Removal and environmentally-friendly disposal of fluorescent lights and ballasts from your facility
Eligibility Criteria: Open to National Grid business customers whose average monthly kW demand is 200 kW or less.
